Learning Outcomes and Application This unit of competency involves the skills and knowledge required to coordinate and implement a range of human resource management activities.The unit applies to personnel responsible for managing human resources for a designated area of responsibility and applying organisational policies including equal employment opportunity, industrial awards and Work, Health and Safety (WHS)/Occupational Health and Safety (OHS). A designated area of responsibility may include a region, brigade or a business unit or department.The fire sector is those sections of government departments, statutory authorities or organisations that have responsibility under jurisdictional arrangements for the delivery of firefighting and fire management services.No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication.

Assessment Tasks
